What are the best SEO tactics for the subpages of my site?
The best tactic for subpages is to focus these pages on a narrow choice of keywords. Your title meta tag, description meta tag, keywords meta tag, and content of subpage should all include these keywords. Make sure to have these keyword in the <h1></h1> tag as well. Logical site structure is very important. Encouraging the search engine ‘bot’ to crawl deep into your site will provide you with highly focused keyword landing pages that will rank for these keywords.
What if you are my SEO provider and my direct competitor's?
This would be a major conflict of interest for us to SEO for two clients in the same market and market territory. This is why Ascendgence, LLC provides a non-compete clause in our agreements to give our clients the assurance that we are fighting to put them on top of the SERPs in their market, and no one else. Some SEO company's find themselves in a very lucrative, but shady practice of charging two clients to compete against each other. If Adwords are being purchased for the clients, this practice unfairly escalates costs for both clients. For our Hyper-Localized SEO Package, we will map out a radius from your business location to provide street names, zip codes, counties, cities, and areas that are searched for, that we target for your business only.
Can I get a list of your current clients?
Search Engine Optimization gets more and more competitive every day. There are those who play by the rules, and those who don't. Listing our network of clients on our site, simply paints targets on them for our competitors, some of which play dirty. Any SEO company that leaves “SEO by XYZ” company in the footer of your website is asking for trouble. A competitor can easily gather their entire network of clients and report it to Google as spam. Whether there is any merit to this accusation or not, having Google do a deep search of your site, is like having the police come deep search your home. You would rather avoid that sort of high scrutiny, despite how squeaky-clean your site may be. We provide our clients with online anonymity in the use of our services. Direct contact information of a few of our clients can be provided under an NDA by contacting us.
Can you provide a list of references?
The quick answer is we will work with you to get references that you need to be comfortable with us. In a short time our clients are very savvy about SEO. Websites that are known to use an SEO provider become targets for further scrutiny and deep searches. This is sort of like an IRS audit, something most businesses that depend on a revenue flow from their websites are very keen to avoid. We are very confident that our clients will do well in such a review, but no one wants to find out. As a result most clients are reluctant to tell anyone who they use or that they use an SEO company at all. While we do have references that will talk to our prospective clients under an NDA, don’t ask us for more than a couple. We simply can’t overwhelm the few clients that are willing to disclose their relationship with us with reference requests. This is also an issue for internal referrals. We have clients who are ecstatic about our work but won’t give us any referrals unless the other business is a very close and trusted affiliate. No one wants that kind of attention from the search engines.
What are the best social bookmarking sites for search engine optimization?

Many of the most popular are: Propeller.com, Digg.com, Del.icio.us, Reddit.com, Fark.com, Furl.net, Connotea.org, Sphinn.com, Faves.com, Spuri.net, Slapshot.org, Technorati.com, Twitter.com, Tagza.com, Newsvine.com, and Swik.net. How many words as a minimum should you have on a web page for SEO?
There are many variables involved in content. An SEO standard of 300-600 words is a good benchmark, if you insist on putting a number on it. You want to make sure you have a high density of your target keyword, without going overboard, as too many instances of the same word can be flagged as spam. There are other opportunities such as alt tags, anchor text, and h1 tags which will improve your density without flagging the bot’s spam detector.
